1/10/2012 0 Comments Reading is not optional!Walter Dean Myers is the new National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. He has written more than 100 books for young adults. His platform for the next two years is "Reading is not optional." Read more about him here: Publisher's Weekly. We have many of his books in our library, including Monster which was the first winner of the Michael L. Printz Award. Come and check them out!

It's also a place where you can see what great new books are out, and ask your librarian to order them for you!
